Recorded in a solar powered studio at Snaggy Mountain in North Carolina, this song features thumb harp, acoustic guitar, cello, modular synthesizer, and mountain energy. Special thanks to the kitty cat that was living in the house at the time of this recording. She was a very gracious host and a great snuggle buddy. Thanks also to Jared, the wild visionary behind Snaggy Mountain. He is a living example of the potential we have as human beings to manifest new realities out of our dreams and to change the world in a positive way. Much love! Also thanks to Audrey M. for her beautiful cello playing, all the love and support, and for being such a compassionate companion along this winding path. Thanks to Justin B. for his incredibly inventive approach to music, and for gracing this track with some modular spells and magic.
With this song the question is raised: when the sun rises in 2054, what will the world be like? The decisions we make everyday determine what that future will be. Soon 2054 will be a reality. I propose we take steps now to ensure that human civilization in 2054 will be a more peaceful, and ecologically healthy society. We have the tools, knowledge, and resources to transform our society into a highly advanced, educated, healthy, and ecologically sustainable life system. As soon as we start collaborating globally, across boundaries, borders, and perceived cultural differences, and start working together as a species to create solutions, then we will find ourselves in the new world. The future of humanity can only be one that is more full of love, more peaceful, and more fully integrated with the planet and cosmos. The old paradigm of domination, fear, scarcity, economic disparity, violence, hierarchy, inequality, etc. etc. This paradigm is reaching the end of its natural course, and is no longer a tenable mode of operation for humanity to function within. Every day it is becoming more and more clear that global capitalism, consumerism, and militarism do not provide greater stability, safety, and ecological and social health. There is no need to fear. Try giving out love, and see what happens! I bet you'll make friends. It really does seem as simple as that in a lot of ways. Let's make friends with the Earth and with each other. Then when times get hard, we know we will have someone to help us through. Anyway, that's enough rambling for now. Much love and I hope you enjoy this music. I put a lot of love and hard work into it :)
Peace, and light

lyrics
The sweet smell of death
Perennial,
The season of light spinning circular
The forest is born again a thousand times or more
The light on the water reflecting your face in the sky
You wanna know why
is there really time?
Was there ever any time anyway?
You wanna be strong,
But you know there's no way out
Of this coming storm
It's the sweet smell of death
Perennial
It's the season of light spinning circular
It's a new season
Spin around circle with the Sun and Moon
It's a new vision
Build it from the ground up hard work hands
It's a new world now
Good things coming from a difficult past
It's a new season
Light spinning 'round as a circle is cast
What will the world be like,
When the sun rises?
In 2054 when the sun rises?
What will the world look like,
when the sun rises?
In 2054 when the sun rises?
